The 2* hotel Miramare is located, as the name says, in front of the sea in Balluta Bay in Sliema, a couple of kilometres from St. Julians along the seaside promenade. Built in 1987 and refurbished in 2000 the hotel is a modern building with 84 rooms spread on 5 floors. It has a souvenir shop, hairdresser, excursion office, a separate restaurant "L'Ordine" and coffee shop "Bocconcino" within its complex. From June till September guests can have free access to the Olympic size swimming pool just across the road built on the sea edge belonging to a private club. All rooms are furnished in a modern style and equipped with air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, safe and some have balconies overlooking Balluta Bay.
